Brief Description:  Worked on doors, staus meeting.

Worked on checklists. Drafts complete except for speeds and W&B.

Worked on moving latch on left-hand door. Broke off my 832 tap in hole, had to drill out rivets in bottom of window to gain access and remove tap. Borrowed Sam’s tap and completed tapping holes. Needs new rivets and cosmetic repairs. Cut and glued notch for window latch in right-hand door panel.

Had status meeting over lunch with Jeanne, Sam, and Bill. Decisions:
• Order wooden prop from Sensenich. Jeanne will get full information for our final decision.
• Use screws rather than Velcro to affix interior panels. Try to use old holes using “hole finder” tool.
• Sam and I will make final decision on aileron bellcrank attach hardware, and Sam will make bushings. If possible we will get this done and install bellcranks while wings are still on bench.
• Bill (and Sam) will take charge of removing and modifying exhaust pipes.
• We will wait for wing installation until we have hardware for both.
• Sam will check on the status of the decals.
• Jeanne will continue working with Maggie on insurance. Backup plan is John to pursue through Groh’s agency.

We looked at several airplanes on the ramp and decided that panel labels should go on top of the associated control wherever possible. Couldn’t come up with anything better than the Casio machine mid-sized font, black on clear. John will apply these for now. They are easily removable if we find something we like better later.

After lunch John and Jeanne looked at doors and determined which old holes to use for mounting screws.

Went to ACE on way home and bought new 832 tap, and #6 and #8 SS screws for interior. Also bought an Exacto knife set for interior work.
