Not much work on C120 during May while I worked on RV mods and inspection. Added drain grommets to wing. Measured wing root fairings and top skin overlap, and determined the bow in the butt rib is too big, 1/2 inch. Researched parts manual and found that two braces are supposed to prevent this bowing due to fabric pull. Studied Poly-Fiber manual regarding repairs to fabric. Cut open inboard bay over gas tank for installation of braces. Found holes in spars and butt rib where braces are supposed to be. Began researching sources for the braces.
