While I was at home hoping to die, Tom was doing the final installation of the transmission and installing the control rods.
He had ratchet straps connected to the boom to precisely level the transmission to the engine in order to carefully sync the gears and to elevate the stress on the turning parts.
In addition, this is the first time that the cabin controls are connected to the exterior surfaces. The final adjustments, alignments, torque and cotter pinning will be for later once the main rotor head.
Tom was using the 5 hours he was left alone to really make some good time and progress.
