Brief Description: Fuel Tank Strap Configuration and Installation
The tank straps have greatly improved over the years, and now they are using “T” bolts and stainless steel straps. The first thing to do was install rubber installation on the straps to insulate and protect the tanks.
Other than that, it was just a matter of taking the straps apart, sliding them over the tanks and saddles, and then reassembling. I’m not tightening the straps because of the pending removal, but they will hold them in place while I perform the sender wiring and fuel line plumbing.
