Brief Description:  Wires, CHT wire, clean interior

Continuing with my squawk list of outstanding items, I next fully reviewed the wire harness and branches inside the cabin below the seats and inside the console. There were little things I could do to make it a little more secure and to prevent possible chafing.

I also wasn’t getting a reading on the #2 CHT sensor, and Lynn, who wired Tom’s helicopter, suggested that I had reversed the polarity on the wires, which was possible, but I was very anal about labeling the wires and believe it unlikely. Regardless, before I decide that I have a bad gauge or probe, I’ll swap it and see what happens.

Finally, there are little bits of wires, zip ties, screws, and random crap in the bottom of the ship, and it’s just generally dirty. I took the time to paint the interior of the helicopter a bright white, so it make it even that more obvious. So, before I put the seats all back together, I gave it a good scrubbing.
