Brief Description:  Grounding Bus and Wiring

As explained with the master buses, this is again something difficult to log since there are so many ground wires to run and secure, not to mention that there are collective ground buses located in the pod itself. I designed it that way to minimize the number of wires that come from the pod instruments and lights.

The buses themselves are very special custom made boards that take blade terminals. I secured two side by side and connected them to each other with a copper bar. I also ordered a larger gauge wire to connect them to the main frame ground, but I have yet to run the wire because frankly, it’s going to be a total pain in the butt to weave it around all the existing traffic.

As with most of the other wiring, I haven’t secured the wires or made them pretty, but I will once I pass the trouble-shooting phase of the electrical work next month (?).
