As I mentioned earlier, I wanted to create a detailed inventory list of all of the panels and parts that were leaving my shop and headed to the painter. You can see a copy of that in the photos below. I also wanted to take a photo of all of the parts piled high in my Jeep before I dropped them off at the paint shop, but sadly I forgot. It was an impressive load of parts all boxed up for easier delivery. I got to the paint shop and Marco and Eddie were beyond helpful and accommodating. I love these guys, and they really seem to understand how important this job is to me. Their customer service is great, and I feel a lot better about leaving everything with them.
The shop is going to be closed over the Thanksgiving break, but Eddie thinks he can start the panels on Monday 11/30, and have all of them completed by that following Friday. That will be perfect timing because my buddy Tom from PA is going to fly out and help me rivet her together. One of us with have the gun, and the other the bucking bar. It’s pretty much impossible without two people, and this will save my wife Dawn a ton of frustration.
My shop looks painfully empty with everything at the painters!
