Today is the last day before my helicopter is delivered. The shop has taken about 6 months to complete to the level where I felt like I had what I needed to begin my project. I started with a rubber floor for comfort during long work days, and to protect tools and parts when they hit the ground.
I have had most of my tools for decades, but I was required to purchase specialized tools for this aviation project. Most of my tools are organized in my many tool boxes, but some are located on the peg board above the workbench I made. Hopefully the shop will not get significantly smaller when the helicopter is planted in the middle of the room.
