I was able to use the same template on both sides just by reversing it and cutting out the slot for the tail rotor cable bracket on the co-pilot side.

I think it looks pretty nice in the photos, but there is a lot of fine tuning left to be done. As I mentioned before, I still need to finish all the edges, mark and drill the rivet holes and refine some of the bends.

I reinstalled the floor to check the fit, and as I expected, it is now just a little too wide and I need to resize it a little. I think I will wait until I finish the aft kick panel so I can resize it all at once.

With this in place, I'm going to move on to the next piece and get most of the cutting done before I go back to the finishing of the individual pieces. I am making each cut with hand shears, so it's a slow and careful process.
