I used foam to build brackets for the gear doors. I used 2 plys BID on each side. After the brackets were built and fitted I attached them to the Aluminum collar and then applied FOX to the top of the brackets and closed the MLG and installed the door. I laid sand bags on to of the door the ensure it would stay closed and in position. Once the FLOX dried I opened the door/MLG and applied FLOX and 2 plys of BID between the bracket and the door.
