Since I am only opting for the upper winglet I decided to increase the Cord of the Rudder by .5" to accommodate for the loss of the lower portion of the rudder. I also had to move the Lower and Middle hinge up a little since the lower winglet is not installed. I then followed the plans putting 3 layers of BID in the Winglet channel and 2 additional Plys in the area of the Hinges. I used Flox and 3 ply of BID at the top to close off the winglet above the top of the rudder.
