Today I fluted the F 804C -FL and -FR to straighten them. I then clecoed them to the lower center secton bulkhead (F-804A-2). I drilled the /18th holes to #30 that were common between these bulkhead pieces.
I final drilled the nutplate attachment holes in the lwr center section bulkhead that hold the four nutplates to it's rear face. I machine countersunk these and deburred them. I drilled the four rivet holes on the vertical leg F 804C-FL, machine countersinking them also, deburred all drilled holes thus far.
I took everything apart and deburred and edged the vertical legs and deburred the rivet holes in the lwr center section bulkhead.
I used the eight main bolts to line up the vertiacl legs before drilling as intructed by the manual, gently tapped them in a short way using a small rubber mallet.
I then cleaned up the verticals with MEK and primed them.
I installed the 12 AN4-11A bolts into the holes as depicted on DWG 64 and torqued them to 65 in lbs. I could still turn them without too much difficulty, and as I didn't have enough bolt length to add another washer, I torqed them to the max figure 70 in lbs, this stopped them from turning.
I then riveted the nutplates to the lwr center section bulkhead and the vertical legs and clecoed them together for riveting tomorrow.
Fwd center section bulkheads clecoed to the center section fwd lower bulkhead.
After fitting the AN4-11A bolts, all torqued to 65 in lbs.
Ready to rivet the fwd center section bulkheads to the center section fwd lower bulkhead.
