Today I riveted the two vertical legs to the fwd center section. I squeezed the two outer lines by hand and used the rivet gun to rivet the inner lines, the look very nice, even if I say so myself.
I then started on the rear center sectiion and it's vertical legs. The legs are already fluted to make them straight, so I clecoed them as well as using the 1/4 bolts, to make sure they are aligned correctly. The 814 seat ramp supports and the 804 floor support angles were also clecoed to the aft center section. I then drilled all the 1/8th rivet holes common with these parts to full size. I also drilled the two #12 holes on each seat support using the aft center section as a template. Two of the rivet holes in the center section had to be machine countersunk, on it's fwd side, as these rivets lie under the two 804G vertical bars when assembled. I final drilled the nutplate attach holes to full size on the seat supports and the floor supports, I machine countersunk these as well.
