I have been busy over the past couple of weeks organising the aircraft log books. I have a common log book from the SAAA ( Sport Aircraft Association of Australia ), for the Engine, Airframe and Propeller. It has taken quite some time to get all the information required and have the aircraft officially registered on the Australian Aircraft Register. VH-PGQ I have contacted the CASA approved person ( AP ) to do the final inspection once I have the pitot static system and transponder checked by an Avionics Technician. I will do some flying in the next couple of weeks, and do my BFR ( Biannual Flight Review ). I have organised Simon, in Ballarat, to do some flying with him in his Sling4, Simon is the most experienced Sling4 pilot in Australia. Simons knowledge and experience on the Sling4 will be invaluable.
