Baby Steps to an RV-8
Welcome to my experimental aircraft Web site. This log will document my progress through the trials and tribulations of building a Van's RV-8. Most of you know the specs on RV's so I'll spare you. Needless to say, it should be a challenge and once complete, the real fun begins. This will definitely be a Long Build project, although I might go with the quick build Fuselage. As most of my work is being done in a hangar or at home, I dedicate time after work and on weekends to the kit. Work can be intense, and my Northern VA commute can be long, so I'm happy with even 30 minutes on the way home. I currently maintain two shops: one at my home in Woodstock, VA and another at my home airport in Warrenton, VA. That's about it for now.
