Welcome to my website documenting the building of RV-8 N795PW (reserved). It has been a long time dream of mine to build and fly my own RV. As an airplane-crazy avid aviator, I’ve learned that the only thing better than building an airplane in my garage is to have one to fly while you’re building….maybe someday I’ll get there!!

With a busy life as a career USAF officer (11 years enlisted/13 years officer and counting), a husband, and a father of 3 kids under the age of 9, this project is most definitely a SLOW-BUILD project. After all, as much as I enjoy this endeavor, it certainly falls in behind God, Family, and Country on the ole' priority list. So far it's endured one PCS (military move), and a tour in Iraq for the builder, and it probably has some more military related delays in the build process before flying. When I started this project, I happily gave up all my other hobbies in order to focus what little time and resources avialable into someday taking flight in something built with my own hands…no more golf, fishing, hunting, shooting…just work, family, church, and RV-8 – the way it ought to be!!
