Finished up installing the blind rivets (MK-319-BS) on both elevators. The elevator spar that the trim tab attaches to has about 3 of these on both sides. And a couple more on each side where its too tight to get the squeezer or a bucking bar in.
Rolled the leading edges of the left elevator. I did each section individually. Not real happy with the rolled shape in all cases coming out of the rolling effort. I needed to do a bit of hand shaping of each side to get the pilot holes lined up. Drilled out to #30, and put in the blind rivets.
I switched to a section of ¾” black pipe (for natural gas lines) that I had laying around as it was of a larger diameter. This seemed to work a little better.
Just got started on the right elevator when I called it a night.
