I went and got a 10’ 2x8 to make the brake press for the Elevator trailing edges on the way back from KRNT. Six laps in the pattern in the C182 to shake the rust off.
Clecoed the counterbalance skin on to the E703 & E704 ribs. I’ve got hole alignment problems on both of them. If I drill, I’ll end up with figure eight holes. Sent a couple pictures and a note to Van’s tech support to see what they say.
Got the tape out and did some back riveting on the right Elevator.
