With the fuselage up on top of the saw horses it is too high up to work on the inside. Others have recommended having the longerons at about "waist high" to allow bending over into the inside. So I whipped up a rolling cart similar to what others have done. Four feet square and about 15" high with two carpeted cross bars. This is big enough to support the whole fuselage without propping up the tail.
Pauline and I were challenged to flip the fuse over when we were done riveting, it was heavier then I expected for the two of us to handle, so I needed some mechanical advantage to lower the fuse onto the new cart solo. With a couple eye bolts in the ceiline joists I rigged up a pulley system to lift the fuselage from the wing box bolts. With a foot loop I could lift the fuse easily and have both hands free to remove the saw horses and position the cart.
Next I started work on the spacers for the aft deck.
