Brief Description:  Stall Warning Mechanism assembly 2

There were two issues I needed to take care of to complete the assembly. The first was the prior mentioned issue of the stall vane hanging up on the corner nut plate rivets. That was easily fixed by a little compression of the rivets with the squeezer. The second was compression of the stall vane when tightening up any of the three screw/nuts combinations in the assembly. This prevented the vane from moving freely. I fixed that by reducing the width of the stainless vane slightly with the scotchbrite wheel. Then I could put a reasonable compression on the two small screws that position the micro switch without compressing the vane.

I cut the two length of wire and crimped the connectors on. I installed the assembly in the leading edge. I drilled our the tooling hole in the spar to 3/8” and inserted the bushing.

Finally, I put the Left Leading edge on the wing and 100% clecoed it in place after leveling up the wing with the jack and fishing line. It is all ready for riveting and this point.
