First thing I did tonight was to re-tape the fuel cap after taking off the blue vinyl that was surrounding the cap. During the soap test I couldn’t stop it from leaking under the tape near the blue vinyl edges. I put some more air in the tank but it was still leaking very slowly around the balloon attachment even though I was able to seal it up for the soap test. Even with electrical tape and three zip ties, any time you move the balloon it will start leaking. I think I’ll move the balloon to the fuel supply fitting and see if I can get a better seal there.
I finished dimpling the left outboard top wing skin, and then got about three quarters through countersinking the remaining holes in the front spar flange for the left wing.
