Tank work to go:
- Cut capacitive sender wire lengths (2x15” & 2x48”)
- Crimp and solder one terminal on the end of each length
- Assemble tank with sender plates, vent, and prefab wires from above
- Mark final wire lengths and terminal clocking in assembled condition
- Remove vent line and wires
- Crimp and solder second terminal on long wire length
- Solder BNC connector on end of short wire
- Clock terminal connector on outboard plate, install screw/bolt, apply sealant
- Permanently install inner and outer plates on their ribs. Thread wire from outer plate through bushings to inboard plate, and thread short wire from inner plate to inboard bay before installing vent line.
- Install vent line, wrap wires around vent line, ensure adequate slack to connect terminal to inboard plate and BNC to inboard rib
- Clock and install screw/bolt for inboard plate and apply sealant
- Rivet in vent line clip, bend up vent line
- Dab sealant on wire/vent to support
- Install outboard rib with sealant
-Install rib reinforcement with sealant
- Fillet seal and shop heads for outboard rib
- Prep inboard rib (flop tube, safety wire, etc,.)
- Wet install inboard rib and rivet
- Fillet seal and shop heads
- Install BNC connecter, torque down, and apply sealant
