Brief Description:  In board trim tab bend

For the inboard side of the trim tab, I had to cut another set of bending blocks because the first set was too small for this bend. Same 12.5 degree cut (on my miter saw anyway). I ran both sides of my 2x4 scrap through the table saw first to get nice crisp corners (only needed to do one side as it turns out). I’ve read other builders logs talking about compound angles being required to cut the blocks, but I didn’t attempt that. Just thinking about it made my head hurt. I did do second cut on the inner block to get it to fit in the trailing edge bend. With the initial 12.5 degree cut going to a point, the second angled cut can be made to give a good snug fit inside the skin.

Same through bolt and double sided tape. Same messing around to get the blocks in the right location for the desired bend line. These bends came out a little better I think. A lot of trouble disassembling because of the greater quantity of tape.

Assembled the trim tab skin and spar. Looks good to me.
