-Riveted VS skin to front spar and VS707 rib on the right side -Started riveting on left side. Messed up the shop head on one rivet by not getting the bucking bar lined up on the bottom of the rivet. Drilled it out and replaced. -I did some experimentation with my rivet gun settings. I ended up settling on a regulator air pressure of 20 PSI and the gun regulator setting in middle. The 3X gun seems to have a lot of capability for pounding that is not needed for AN425AD3-3.5 rivets. My current theory is that I get in trouble by trying to regulate the pounding of the gun via trigger travel. So if I limit the full trigger pounding with air pressure, I only need to regulate how many taps. That’s the theory anyway. We’ll see how it pans out.
