-Got a call from the blood center Saturday night. They had a matched platelet donor that cancelled and were looking for a replacement. Pretty hard to turn them down, so Sunday morning I was in. It was halfway to KRNT so I grabbed my flight bag on the way out thinking I might go for a quick flight after. Without making advanced reservations the picking’s were a little slim, but I took 704RY out for some short and soft field work at S36, steep turns over Maple Valley, and short approaches at KRNT. I love flying the C150’s even though they are slow and underpowered. -Got home and finished the VS rear spar assembly riveting -Riveted the VS frame together – front spar and ribs -Clecoed on the VS skin.
