I just about vacuumed the whole house! We have some good friends coming over for Christmas Eve dinner. One of the shop tables (saw horses and door) is needed for a second dining room table upstairs. Cleaned that off and brought it up.
Got a couple hours in after the house was ready and before the guests arrived. I had picked up some blue RTV at the auto parts store a few days ago for the elevator skin trailing edge where each stiffener meets.
I squeezed some RTV into each stiffener intersection
Then I clecoed on the counterbalance skin and flush riveted the two (each side) rivets inboard of the tip rib/counterbalance rib assembly that join the counterbalance skin to the elevator skin
Loosely inserted the counterbalance into E-714 and slid the skeleton into the skin assembly. Took a little work, but I got it clecoed together.
Squeezed most of the 3.5 flush rivets around the perimeter.
