Built up and riveted the lower rib/rudder horn/horn brace/spacer on to the spar. It was a little challenging with the sequence of part assembly and access to the all of the rivets with the squeezer.
Clecoed on the counterweight rib and riveted
Clecoed on the counterbalance skin and riveted
Installed the counterbalance weight
Clecoed on both rudder skins
Riveted the counterbalance skin/rudder skins
Clecoed in the upper rib
Riveted the upper rib to skins. Couldn’t get access to the last two rivets at the trailing edge. Left those for later.
Riveted right side rudder skin to the spar. Had to drill out four rivets – the heads didn’t quite seat all the way in the dimple due to my poor technique with the squeezer on those. I think I was getting tired.
