-Removed the skins from both L & R Horizontal stab. Disassembled the left side skeleton and started deburring, dimpling, and scuffing up the ribs and spars. I had already worked all the part edges prior to assembly and drilling. I think that is a good practice as the fluting makes it more difficult after the fact. -Got to use the D2RD –T, pneumatic squeezer, and the pop rivet tool for dimpling. Need the pop rivet tool and dies to get access to the most forward holes in the leading edge ribs. -Very tedious work.
