-Angle drill came in this week. Seemed no better then the Sioux drill for making these holes. Maybe if I had a longer bit it would help. Ended up drilling it with the Sioux from the aft side through the HS405 pilot holes with a #40. Then coming back through from the front, where the angle is better, to get it full size with a #30. One can get a more normal angle by bending the drill bit as you come in from the aft side. -Drilled all the holes through the skin into the structural skeleton for the left side. -Removed the skin and drilled the final holes for HS714 & HS710 into HS703. -I had been a bit worried about edge margin on the skin/HS703 flanges. The HS 405 seemed a bit big when I had it all clecoed together. After taking the skin off, I took a look and all of them were good. No need to doubt the CNC set up I guess. -Got the Right Horizontal stab out. Set up and drilled the HS 404/405 HS 714/710 intersection. Drilled all the holes from skin to skeleton. Took the skin off and drilled the final HS714/710 holes. -HS stab drilling complete!!
