I bought some tungsten cutoff on ebay to use as the make-up weight on the elevators. They are six inches long and weigh almost a pound each. They are too wide for where they are doing to go and they need to be narrowed. Fortunately the tungsten is an alloy which is workable with good tools. I’m going to take them to a friend’s shop and have the ends milled flat. The remaining weight should get me the 10oz I need.
