Today I got some more done, this time on the vertical stab. There really isn't much info on how to make the trim piece at the base on the front of the stab, so I went to a friend's house for answers. Rob Taylor has a QB fuselage and I put an old file folder on top of the cross tubes and traced a pattern. I got a piece of T8 tubing and using the bending jig I milled out of aluminum I made it to match the pattern. That T8 is pretty tough stuff and it was kind of a short piece of scrap, but I was able to form it. Next is to grind out the fit to the front edge of the stab and make the end piece that holds the ends of the top stringers.
