Making the tabs for the flying wire attach points was pretty easy. I have found if I have a full-size template in the plans, all I have to do is make a copy of the template and glue it to the steel blank and drill/sand to shape. I tried marking the pieces, but the marker always wore off. All I do is take some rubber cement and coat the steel and let it dry. I then take the paper templates and do the same, but put them on when the cement is a little wet. I can then make multiple parts being almost identical. Easy as that...
