Brief Description: Profiled Horizontal Stab Part 3
Well, summer in Alaska is in full swing and I just finished putting 24 red salmon in the freezer. I was able to get a little BH time in this evening, so I started on the ribs for the profiled stab. Pat Fagan sent me his form blocks and templates, so I'm using those. The first, larger rib was kind of the trial run. It turned out ok, but I will redo it for sure. I was playing around with techniques for forming, different hammers, etc. I finally found the right combo, so I tried it out on another, smaller rib. It turned out pretty good and definitely a keeper. Now I "just" have to make the remaining ribs and put in the lightening holes.
