Well, two steps forward and three back this time. I was looking for a measurement to locate the front strut attach bushing and found some discrepancies. One thing lead to another and ended up checking the whole assembly because something just wasn't right. Some measurements were off a bit, but nothing that was a show-stopper. However, I found that by putting a straight edge on the aft spar, the leading edges turned in a bit. This is not too much or a problem since there is a little play in the carry-through tube, but it just didn't line up even with the slack out of it.
At this point I've played with these too long to try to correct the issue. So, off to the drawing board...to make new ones.
