Brief Description:  Elevator and Flap Pulley Brackets Part 1

I was going to put in the bottom stringers, but I figured it may be better to put in the elevator and flap pulley brackets before I do the stringer standoffs. I already made these a few months ago, so just weld them on, right? Wrong. The front one fit perfect, but the back one had some interference issues. The 3/4in tubing is welded onto the 5/8ths tubing, making that stand proud a bit in the cluster. One of the pulleys wouldn’t turn when I tacked it in place. There are two solutions. Make a new bracket (which I don’t want to do) or just rotate it back a bit so the pulleys clear the cluster at the bottom. It’s about 20 degrees back, so I’ll call Bob Barrows in the morning to see if that is ok to do. I think it is, but it’s always good to check. It was a good place to stop for the evening anyway.
