I got the fourth pedal welded in today and the reinforcement strap as well. I alsp welded the tabs on the back of the brake pedals. These tabs bolt to the brake actuating cylinders.
One thing I thought about doing and didn't do is to drill a small hole in the rudder pedals and the brake pedals. The hole would be where the horizontal piece meets the vertical and you would never see it...kind of like a 1/8ths hole for tube oil. This would alleviate any pressure build-up from welding the brake tabs to the curved tubes and the verticals that make up the pedals. Next time...
