One thing I needed is a tool to tighten the wheel nut on the landing gear. They are available, but for $80 I think there had to be another solution. I went to my local second-hand shop with a piece of 1 1/2in tubing looking for a 12pt socket that I could use for my tool. I found a Proto 1 5/16th socket that was perfect. Now all I had to do is make it work!
I used electrical tape as a depth guide and 6 points on the inner socket as an alignment reference I started grinding away. It took way less time than I thought and once I was close I used a file for fine-tuning of the socket points.
