The size of the opening is important. It can’t be too big or else there won’t be enough room to rivet in nutplates and if it is too small I won’t be able to remove the panel if needed. To help define the space I installed the circuit breakers that help describe the panel edges and made measurements based on this. Once cut there’s no going back! It did turn out just fine and am happy with the result. Everything it just so tight!
