Good day today, lots of progress. My friend Jim Harden brought his son Zach along today to help out. I got Zach busy cleaning out the paint out of the cable fairlead guides…lots of sanding! After that, Jim and Zach installed the stringers on the fuselage using long 1/8th inch AL pull rivets. After they went home I went around with a vixen file and sandpaper and eased over the edges of all the stringers. They were pretty sharp and Jim thought that knocking the edge off would help the fabric lay much nicer and not tend to wear holes as the fabric moves. That was a long job and actually spanned a few days. The bottom stringers were by far the longest!
