I had made an error with one of the lower cross ties in that I made this member level with the ribs of the sidewalls and not the longerons. Therefore, there would be -roughly- a 3/32 gap between the cross tie flange and the bottom skin. Why I did this I do not know. Of course I don't have enough material to simply remake this part; it is a long channel. So, I cut off the flange and riveted a replacement angle I made onto the channel; at the correct dimension of course. Good as new.
