Fabricated F07 -08 /-09 /-10; These were fuel tank stop angles, the center firewall angle, and side firewall angles.
Made the edge bends to the instrument panel. Disappointed that I couldn't use my brake to do this but there was too much interference.
Installed the glare shield. Placed the upper F/W angles to the glare shiled. Piloted all.
I had reworked the upper F/W to accept skybolt fasteners (removed the weak South Co assemblies). It was oddly simple. You'll notice the large barrels in the second picture. These are high quality (yes, expensive), strong, and remarkably light. They are needed secondary to my plan to split my cowling horizontally vs the traditional vertical.
