Removed the powder coat from the bearing surfaces of the rudder pedal components. I didn't know this was required until I happened to see a video on the EAA site from John Monnet (the Sonex designer) demonstrating who and why you do this. I used my propane torch as described in the video and it was actually quite simple.
Installed rudder pedals. Applied generous amounts of aviation grease. I'm doing this now as I think it would be difficult once the fuel tank is in.
