Brief Description:  R. Aileron

Completed the Right Aileron Counterbalance assembly. It was interesting setting this up so all parts matched perfectly -and yes they are, perfect, that is. Drilling the lead counterweight is also kind of interesting. A bit tricky as your bit will grab and pull the entire weight right into the chuck. I used my drill press and generous amounts of cutting fluid (although I wonder if this did any good), After significant reaming they were good to go. Bolted the weight in place after the assembly received it's corrosion protection regime.

Placed, piloted and ultimately updrilled the aileron rib, counterbalance assembly, and the very odd tip rib. Also placed hinge to aileron. Disassembled and deburred. Acid etch, allodined, and primed. Waiting to complete when dry.
