Brief Description:  Oil leak.

Discovered a significant oil leak. Despite having never actually run, there was a flow of oil from the case end of the rear right pushrod tube. In approximately 14 hours there was roughly 1/4 of a quart on the floor. Kind of shocking. The kit supplies some generic rubber gaskets for the tubes and I remember not being impressed with them when placed. However, this seems like a rather large leak and I hope that there is nothing worse.

Drained the oil and returned it to its original bottles; glad the recycling hadn't yet come.

I'll have to take off the head. Before I do that I went ahead and ordered some silicone seals and, because it is such a common thing to have leaky pushrod tubes, I also ordered a set of windage push rod tubes. Not expensive and may make a much nicer install. However, they may not fit and if so, I'll use the originals with the new seals.
