I began labeling my panel. The paint looks trememdous. Used black on clear label tape on one of those twenty dollar home label makers. They look good; not perfect. My switches have a keyway indexing tab which keeps them from rotating. Unfortunately, with my type of label the hole is visible. Small price to pay for stable switches. I suppose I could have paid someone to make some fancy plastic placards to cover them but I didn't. I really like my panel. It makes me feel all tingly.
Tried to finish fabricating the rear spar carry through ( SNX-F03 )but discovered that I needed some 3/16 6061 T6 spacers. I don't have material large enough for this. Problem. Will get back to this.
I have two MAC Grips for the the sticks; simple ones with only a PTT switch. I wired and soldered this per instruction. This is some really fine soldering work onto the this tiny switch. Luckily I was able to bring this onto the kitchen table and take my time.
Everything seems to take a great deal of time now. Spent time staring at my F/W layout. Tweaked my electrical system again. The Sonex LLC way is way simplistic. Simple is good but not at the risk of my expensive avionics.
