Having already layed out my panel I began cutting. This is tedious because it looks rather weak to have things misaligned. The dimensions of my avionics are quite varied.
1. MGL Enigma EFIS- this is all flight instruments, GPS navigation, and engine monitoring (yes I accept the fact that if it goes out I lose everything. Whatever. The spinny thing out front isn't going to stop just because my electronics go belly up) This is an impressive device but requires a great deal of "computer" savy to use well. 2. MGL V10 -fully digital transciever and intercom package. This thing is feather light - unfortunately it's a 3.5 sized instrument. 3. A GT-50 G-Meter from Flight data systems. The Enigma can do this as well but I wanted to be able to see this data clearly and not mixed in with everything else. 4. Three toggle switches; Master (Off/Batt/ Batt + Alternator), primary ignition, secondary ignition. 5. Four rocker swithches: Avionics including the RDAC (remote data acquistion computer), and fuel probe / Enigma back-up battery / COM / and Weapon Stores. 6. ELT remote 7. Three lighted idiot lights: Master caution- displays alerts remotely from Enigma / Alternator OV Condition or Failure / Weapons. 8. Push to start button
One of my switches is not perfect. Not sure what I will do but I may have to leave it.
