Drilled the T/W pivot. Had to dissasemble the T/W mount which had been previously installed as I had not drilled the 1/4 hole for the T/W spring mounting. Placed and drilled the titainium rod for the T/W spring. Re-installed mount and installed rod. Then placed T/W caster. Secured and marked aft end for drilling. Drilled spring. Mounted caster and Tail wheel donut.
My cobalt drill bits did a great job. However, after a total of six titanium holes, the 1/4 bit seems to have become significantly dull. I think I should have had another intermmediate step between the 5/32 and 1/4 inch. It was a pretty big step up.
It is now on it's gear. Seems like a big step for me. Now that she is mobile I am going to switch my gears and build the engine.
