Each of the six hinges was installed on the elevators by sliding the stainless steel hinge pin into position. Washers are placed on either side of the hinge to center it, each of the six slots was filled about 2/3 full with wet flox and then the elevators placed into place with the hinges slid into the slots. The slots are topped off and excess flox was cleaned.
