Ok so when I tried to fit the elevtors I found the same problem as many had reported. I determined the problem was two fold. One the canard is slightly oversized, additionally, the elevators were similarly oversized. This was due to not burning enough foam and slightly oversized templates. I've opted to build a new cores and rebuild the canard.
