Well I spent more time on this than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised though when I made the rear mounting brackets because the two came out good the first try. I guess I'm used to making at least one "practice" piece first :-)

What took the most time was getting the two sides lined up perfectly. I'm not sure that the phrase "Perfection is the enemy of completion" applies in this case. I think this is one area where you want it perfect. Anyway I tacked one side then worked at lining up the other side. I used a long piece of 3/4" tubing to check for level and square. I ran a line down the center of the fuselage for a reference to set square off of. The first attempt didn't come out to my satisfaction so I cut the tacks and redid. The second attempt came out perfect so I can sleep well tonight...
